Claire Ledgerwood

On leaving College, Claire worked on cruise liners sailing to amazing places around the world, such as Hawaii, Panama, The Mediterranean and Mexico.

Her various roles have allowed her to develop a wealth of experience in administration, HR, teaching, assessing and supporting students and she has extensive experience in supporting both staff and learners with their well-being and mental health. She has gained Cert Ed, Assessing qualifications, CIPD, CIDESO and Beauty Therapy L2 & L3.

Claire is a cheerful, friendly, glass half full person who radiates positivity and takes great pleasure in helping people in any way that she can.

She believes in Horizon and its values and gains pride in adding to the invaluable and necessary work that Horizon does in the community. She thinks that it is amazing to see the positive change in learners as they grow their emotional and social skills and are re-engaged back into their community.
